How To Paint An Owl - Part 1

Recently I told you, that i've started a new e-course. It's called "How To Paint An Owl" and is from Juliette Crane. It's a five week long e-course and I'm now in week 2. In week 1 we made some backgrounds for the owls and in this week we started with the owls. I love this e-course, it is so much fun. And I'm looking so forward to the finished paintings. Below are some of my first attempts.

This is my third background, but I don't know yet if I use it for an owl or something else, maybe a girl ?

New Projects

I have some new projects. First there is my new art journal, until now the cover is only black, but soon I will change that. I will post the new cover when it's finished.

I'm currently taking Juliette Crane's "How to paint an owl" e-course. I'm relatively new to mixed-media. Yesterday I've seen the first videos. And now I'm looking so forward to paint my own backgrounds for my owls. I hope to find some time for painting the next couple of days.




Recently I started also with sketching some faces. For the first time in my life and I will continue and improve my faces.
